Lucinda

Ahh finally got something (almost!) done. This is Lucinda she is a naughty girl who does not play well with her toys including the unfortunate Wilbur. I need to take a little bit better photos to get her bloomers in the shot. I think they may be my favorite part. I think I might tweak her hair a it more, get rid of some of the strays but otherwise she is done phew. My super mother-in-law loaned me her camera so I'm not out of commission after all!

  1. OMG...I love her!! Those eyes!! I had a doll I loved very much as a child and she had no head either!!! I used to make paper heads and colour them and then insert the paper into the hole where the head had been. That way I could make up all kinds of faces and stories about her. So you see, Lucinda isn't all that naughty!!! LOL

  2. Haha Georgina that's adorable! I once accidentally removed the head from my Ken doll. I didn't realized they popped right back on so I destroyed the evidence by flushing his head down the toilet and burying the body in the backyard. I confessed to my mom a few years ago and we had a good laugh about it.

  7. I love those big eyes on Lucinda, and she looks so innocent after pulling the head off her doll. I have also raised many a fallen bird from palm tree nests and most all of them made it. Good luck!

  8. Thank Della! It's great to hear from someone who has had success with baby birdies. Everything I read online is "don't get your hopes up."
